N.C. Firefighter Dies Following Training

A 40-year old fire captain in North Carolina died last month after being stricken during a training exercise.
A 40-year old fire captain in North Carolina died last month after being stricken during a training exercise.

Jonathan L. "Johnny" Littleton, fell ill while participating in a drill with fellow firefighters with Pine Level Fire Department on Aug. 19, the USFA reported Monday.

He left the exercise, and went home. He was found dead the following day.

The cause of death has not been determined.

Littleton also was a police officer.
