Man Hurt in Baltimore Fire Truck Crash

BALTIMORE -- Baltimore city officials are investigating a crash between an SUV and a fire truck. The vehicles collided at about 5:40 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Warwick and North Avenues in west Baltimore.

Baltimore city officials are investigating a crash between an SUV and a fire truck.

The vehicles collided at about 5:40 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Warwick and North Avenues in west Baltimore.

Fire officials said the fire truck was on its way to a call in the 500 block of Bloom Street when the crash occurred.

Sky Team 11 Capt. Roy Taylor reported that emergency crews had to extract a 29-year-old man from the SUV. He was then taken to Shock Trauma in unknown condition.

The victim has not yet been identified.

Officials said no one else was injured in the crash.
