Tenn. Firefighter Hurt in Restaurant Fire
NASHVILLE, Tenn. --
A firefighter and worker had to be taken to the hospital after a west Nashville restaurant was damaged by fire Monday afternoon.
The blaze occurred at about 3 p.m. at Coco's Italian Market located along 51st Avenue.
Officials said hydraulic fluid leaked from a truck that was putting up signs on the building. The fluid then caught fire and spread to the restaurant.
Two people, including a firefighter who responded to the blaze, were taken to an area hospital. The firefighter suffered an elbow injury, and the other person suffered burns.
The extent of the building's damage was not known.
