Baltimore FF Hurt in Fall From Window

A Baltimore firefighter was listed in serious condition after falling from a second-story window of a burning apartment late last night, according to The Baltimore Sun.Department spokesman Kevin Cartwright told the newspaper that unidentified firefighter suffered burns to both hands and was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma Center.The firefighter's injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The firefighter's injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The fire was reported at approximately 9 p.m. in the 3900 block of Liberty Heights Avenue and about four units in the 12-unit building sustained smoke and fire damage.

Two residents were also injured in the blaze.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
