CASSELBERRY, Fla. --

Two people were injured, including a firefighter, when a Casselberry home caught fire Thursday night.

The fire broke out at the mobile home on Osceola Trail off North Winter Park Drive, around 10 p.m. The fire caused significant damage to the home. All three residents were able to get out safely.

Fire officials say a female Casselberry firefighter seriously injured her hand and arm, when she put her hand through a window.

A neighbor also suffered from smoke inhalation, when he went back inside the home to try to rescue some exotic birds.

The firefighter was taken to the hospital. Both are expected to be alright.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
