OMAHA, Neb, --
Omahaa Kelloggs plant was evacuated Tuesday night as firefighters handled a fire on the roof of the facility.
Fire crews were called in shortly after 9 p.m. to the plant near 96th and J streets.
Kelloggs employees were asked to leave the building as firefighters went to the highest roof of the structure.
The fire was brought under control within an hour, officials said.
Investigators ruled the fire was accidental and caused by overheated mechanical equipment on the roof.
Damage was estimated at $80,000 to the structure and $35,000 to the equipment.
No one was hurt in the incident.
