Elderly Pa. Couple Killed in Fire

SALISBURY TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- State Police say an oxygen tank ignited inside a Lancaster County home Saturday evening, starting a fire that killed an elderly couple. Firefighters responded to the home in the 200 block of Cambridge Road in Salisbury Township around 6:30p.m., after the couple's son went to check on them.

State Police say an oxygen tank ignited inside a Lancaster County home Saturday evening, starting a fire that killed an elderly couple.

Firefighters responded to the home in the 200 block of Cambridge Road in Salisbury Township around 6:30p.m., after the couple's son went to check on them.

A State Police Fire Marshal tells News 8 that 79-year old Joel King Junior died inside the home. His wife, 85-year old Miriam King was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center where she later died.
