Australian Firefighter Killed in Rollover

A Country Fire Authority volunteer firefighter was killed and four others were injured in a tanker rollover this morning in northeast Victoria, according to The Herald Sun.

The crash occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Spring Creek Road in Tatong when the vehicle flipped while responding to a fire call.

The name of the fallen firefighter has not been released.

The firefighter was trapped inside the tanker and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.

The other injured firefighters were transported to nearby hospitals.
