Four firefighters from the White House Volunteer Fire Department who were injured responding to a wreck Sunday have been released from a hospital. According to fire officials, the firefighters were treated at Vanderbilt and released Sunday night. Most had minor injuries, but one firefighter had a punctured lung.
The crew was injured when their fire engine rolled over on Marlin Road. They were responding to a crash on Tyree Springs.
The fire chief said the truck will have to be replaced. He estimated the cost at about $300,000. The chief said insurance should pick up the tab.
