EVERETT, Wash. --

A two-alarm fire heavily damaged an Everett warehouse early Saturday morning.

The fire gutted Doodlebug Sportz, a paintball arena, which was housed in the building located in the 3300 block of Paine Avenue.

Everett fire department battalion chief Joe Johnston said that the fire was called in around 2:35 a.m, KIRO 7 reported.

When firefighters arrived they found flames coming from the warehouse and the roof.

As firefighters sprayed water on the building, several explosions could be heard from inside, possibly from compressed air and gas cylinders used by the business.

Eventually firefighters brought the fire under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no reported injuries.
