BALTIMORE --
A firefighter is recovering after he was injured while battling a blaze in southeast Baltimore.
The fire broke out at about 9 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of South Robinson Street near Eastern Avenue.
Police said a vacant home was destroyed and that a second house was damaged.
The firefighter was taken to Bayview Hospital to be treated for a burn injury to his face.
The cause of the two-alarm fire is under investigation.
