WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. --

A fire gutted the inside of a West Palm Beach car dealership Monday morning.

The fire started at about 9 a.m. at KOL Auto Sales in the 5600 block of Broadway.

"Always a sad day when you have a disaster like this," manager Kelvin Roolle told WPBF 25 News.

The office of KOL Auto Sales was destroyed in a fire Monday morning.

Although the entire inside of the building was destroyed, the only cars that were damaged were the model ones inside the office.

Firefighters said it could have been much worse.

"They did a great job," West Palm Beach Fire Rescue Capt. Pete Vallas said of his team. "They pulled in and hit it quickly and knocked it down. It didn't get any further. If this was in the middle of the night, the building would've been gone."

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but owner Kevin Coltz has his suspicions -- and a message for the person or people responsible.

"You're going to get caught," Coltz said. "You'll get caught. That's what it's all about in this country. You do things to people, what goes around comes around."
