Six People Hurt in Fla. Crash with 15 Cars, One Bus

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. --

Authorities said six people were hurt in a collision on Interstate 75 on Sunday. The crash involved more than 15 cars and a charter bus.

The Hillsborough County Fire-Rescue chief said none of the injuries were considered life-threatening.

The fire chief said 32 people were aboard the bus traveling from Sarasota to Gatlinburg, Tenn. He said the bus was carrying a group that was headed to a Christian jubilee and none of the passengers on the bus were hurt.

Two lanes of I-75 North were reopened just before 6pm and a third lane opened shortly thereafter. Many of the vehicles caught up in the mess were leaving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' game.
