Man Rescued from California Cliff

Firefighters rescued a man from a cliff in Encinitas Tuesday morning.

Firefighters rescued a man from a cliff in Encinitas Tuesday morning, 10News reported.

San Diego County Sheriff's deputies said they responded to complaints about a group of intoxicated people at the swimming pool of the Pacific Panorama Apartments about 5:30 a.m.

Deputies said when they arrived, one man left through a side gate and tried to climb down the steep cliff.

According to Rancho Fire personnel and lifeguards, the man was about 30 feet down the cliff before being rescued shortly after 7 a.m.

No information regarding arrests or citations was provided.
