The truck went up in flames as it sat parked just off Newcastle Road.

The rig was en route from Yakima, Wash., to Tucson, Ariz. The driver stopped at his home in Stockton to take a break when the blaze broke out.

Driver Major Nijer said he was asleep when the fire started. He added that a refrigeration unit on the trailer was running, which he said may have caused the blaze.
