Ohio Crews Battle Vacant House Fire

DAYTON, Ohio --

Firefighters in Dayton rang in the New Year battling a house fire.

The fire happened at a house of Notre Dame Avenue in Old North Dayton.

Smoke and flames filled a two-story house, causing firefighters to spend a couple of hours dousing hot spots.

Neighbors said the house is vacant, and that no one has lived there for almost a year.
