Firefighter Hurt Battling Oklahoma House Fire

While battling the blaze, one firefighter was burned on his face and hands, officials said.

Firefighters responded to a house fire near Hefner Road and MacArthur Boulevard around 3 a.m. Monday.

While battling the blaze, one firefighter was burned on his face and hands, officials said.

It took crews more than one hour to extinguish the flames.

The man living in the house made it out safely. The fire destroyed the house, officials said.

Officials think a lightning strike may have started the fire.
