2 Kansas Firefighters Hurt Battling Blaze

Firefighters are expected to be OK after they were hurt early Thursday morning battling a house fire.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. --

Two firefighters are expected to be OK after they were hurt early Thursday morning battling a house fire.

Crews were called to the 600 block of Rowland Avenue at about 1:30 a.m.

One firefighters hurt his ankle and another firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation as they tried to put out the fire.

Fire investigators said the house had caught fire earlier in the evening. They are trying to determine if the flames rekindled or a fire was set.
