Ohio Fire Truck Collision Injures Civilian

No firefighters were seriously hurt.

A collision between a car and a fire truck in Queensgate left the driver trapped inside for some time.

The crash happened at the intersection of Freeman Avenue and Eighth Street just after 9 a.m. The fire truck, a ladder truck from the Cincinnati Fire Department, hit the car on the driver's side.

The driver, who has not been identified, had to be extricated from the car, but was reported to be conscious when transported to University Hospital.

No firefighters were seriously hurt.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
