Some downtown Orlando apartment residents are cleaning up after a meth lab bust was discovered during a kitchen fire.

Firefighters discovered the meth lab when they put out a fire at Uptown Place on Orange Avenue.

During the fire, the sprinkler system went off and flooded apartments in the complex. Apartment managers brought in equipment to dry out the carpet.

The Hazmat teams were there for more than 10 hours cleaning up the lab.

"I find it amazing. Amazed to hear that," said resident Steve Cold.

The Orlando Police Department is investigating.
