Fire Breaks Out in Denver Neighborhood

It took 34 firefighters 30 minutes to put the fire out.

Denver fire officials are investigating an early-morning fire that happened near Eighth Avenue and Quebec Street.

The fire broke out just before 6:30 a.m. Sunday. When firefighters arrived the second floor of the home that is under construction was completely engulfed in flames.

It took 34 firefighters 30 minutes to put the fire out.

Officials said no one was injured.

Meanwhile fire officials are also investigating a fire that happened near Sheridan Boulevard and Exposition Avenue Saturday night.

They said they are trying to determine if a domestic dispute led to the house fire. Police officers were responding to reports of a domestic dispute when the fire broke out.

Authorities said it is not clear if the two calls were related. No one was injured in the fire.
