A brush fire in Orlando, Fla., grew to 125 acres in an area east of the airport Thursday afternoon before firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control, according to a Local 6 News report.

The fire quickly grew Thursday from 15 acres to 125 acres in the dry brush near the International Corporate Boulevard Park and apparently had the potential to continue to grow.

An official said the fire was 99 percent contained at 4 p.m. Thursday.

No homes or businesses were threatened.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
