SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio --

Authorities said two children were killed in an early-morning fire Saturday in Shaker Heights.

Fire officials said the blaze was reported at about 12:30 a.m on Rawnsdale Road.

The children were left home with two teenage baby sitters while the parents went out. The baby sitters escaped unharmed. Fire officials said the two teens jumped from a window and told officials that three children were still inside.

They were taken to the hospital, where 6-year-old Imoie Ogbuji and 2-year-old Chikora Ogbuji later died.

Anyachiemcka Ogbuji, 1, was taken to Akron Children's Hospital. The child suffered severe smoke inhalation, officials said.
