Three Maryland Teens Perish in Blaze

No foul play is suspected

Three Maryland teenagers spending the night with a buddy were killed in a house fire in Washington County early Sunday.

Three others in the two-story house including the owner, his 17-year-old son and a 15-year-old managed to escape from the smoky blaze, said Allen Gosnell, deputy state fire marshal.

The two youths were taken to Washiington County Hospital in Hagerstown where they were treated and released.

The victims have been identified as Brian Daigle, Jon Barnes and Mike Abell, all from the Boonsboro area. Autopsies are being performed at the state medical examiner
