MILWAUKEE --
Firefighters rescued an unknown number of people trapped in a house fire Friday morning.
The residents were trapped on an upper level of a house near Seventh Street and Clarke Street. Firefighters used a ladder to get them down.
Two people were taken to a hospital for minor injuries. One was treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire was under control by 7:30 a.m.
