Firefighters Hurt During House Fire in Dayton

The firefighters sustained minor injuries.

Two Dayton firefighters are recovering after being injured battling a blaze at a vacant duplex.

The fire happened Monday afternoon in the 3400 block of West Third Street.

Neighbors said they didn't know the home was on fire and they were frightened when someone knocked on their door and told them to get out.

The home is estimated to be a total loss.

The firefighters suffered minor injuries.

So far there is no official cause of the fire.
