Overnight Fire Damages Twin Homes in North Dakota

Twin homes on Augusta Drive were seriously damaged in an overnight fire in Grand Forks.

Twin homes on Augusta Drive were seriously damaged in an overnight fire in Grand Forks, accordng to Grand Forks police.

Residents of one of the twin homes, Bill and Pam Olson, 2654 Augusta Drive, were safely evacuated, police said in a news release.

The other home, 2642 Augusta Drive, was vacant; it is owned by Marlon Shull, police reported.

Police were called to a house fire at the Shull twin home at 2:19 a.m. today. Once officers from Grand Forks County and Grand Forks arrived at the scene, the Shull twin home was engulfed completely in flames, and the other twin home had just started to catch fire, police said.

The Grand Forks Fire Department and Altru Health System paramedics also assisted at the scene.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time, according to police.
