HANOVER, Md. (AP) -- Three people were injured Friday morning during a fire in a subdivision near Arundel Mills mall, with two of the injuries considered life-threatening.
All three adults were taken to the Bayview burn unit in Baltimore. Roger Worley and his wife Janette, both 57, were burned over 30 percent of their bodies, officials said. Their daughter Isa Worley, 33, was treated at the hospital with less serious injuries, according to Lt. Russell Davies of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. A fourth adult in the house wasn't hurt.
The fire was reported about 7 a.m. Sixty-two firefighters responded.
Davies said the fire was brought under control, but the home was likely a total loss. The cause was under investigation.
