A fire destroys a Lexington home and evacuates neighbors.
Firefighters were called to a home on Queensway Drive around 1:30 Tuesday morning.
The two- story house was fully involved when crews arrived on scene. Firefighters knocked the fire down quickly, but officials say the home is a complete loss.
The home was under construction and not occupied. Residents of neighboring homes were evacuated and those homes did receive minor damage from the flames.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
