A pipe bomb was found in a stolen car parked in a Northwest Las Vegas apartment complex late Monday morning.

Bomb technicians of the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Bomb Squad responded to the scene and rendered the device safe. There were no injuries in connection with the incident.

The Bomb Squad responded to the Sundance Village Apartments, 6500 W.Charleston Blvd (W. Charelston/Torrey Pines) at 11:45AM Monday morning.

Metro police found a stolen vehicle in the apartment complex, and while checking the contents of the vehicle; they found what appeared to be a pipe bomb.

The Bomb Squad responded and found that it was an actual pipe bomb and rendered it safe on scene. The incident is under investigation by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
