HAMILTON - A raging fire late last night damaged several units of the Woodmere Apartments complex off Hughes Drive, opposite Mercer County Park.
Initially firefighters feared people were trapped inside the building, but apparently all residents escaped.
The fire broke out in the building at about 10:40 p.m. and dispatchers received several 911 calls. A column of smoke was visible as firefighters responded.
