Fire Hits University of Colorado Sorority House

BOULDER, Colo. --

A sorority house at the University of Colorado in Boulder caught fire on Monday night.

When firefighters arrived at the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, they found flames and smoke coming from the attic.

The sorority's house mother was the only person home when the fire started. She got out safely.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital for a sprained ankle.

Fire investigators will go into the house on Tuesday to begin their investigation into what caused the fire.
