New Rules Proposed For Volunteer Firefighters

A proposed change to the number of training hours required to be a volunteer firefighter in Ohio is receiving criticism from local officials. Under the plan from the Ohio Fire Alliance, volunteer firefighters would have to take 120 hours of instruction, up from the 36 hours currently required under state law.
