Ind. Firefighters Rescue Man From Burning Home

CARMEL, Ind. -- Firefighters pulled a man from a burning home in Carmel on Thursday morning before he was rushed to a hospital. The fire broke out at a home in the 11000 block of College Avenue north of 106th Street about 10 a.m. Investigators said two teenagers who were in the home were able to escape before firefighters arrived. The condition and identity of the man who was rescued were not released. Firefighters were able to get control of the blaze in about 15 minutes.

The fire broke out at a home in the 11000 block of College Avenue north of 106th Street about 10 a.m.

Investigators said two teenagers who were in the home were able to escape before firefighters arrived.

The condition and identity of the man who was rescued were not released.

Firefighters were able to get control of the blaze in about 15 minutes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
