Three New Jersey firefighters were injured following a mishap during USAR training at an old military base in Bayonne Wednesday morning.

Two firefighters from Bayonne and one from Hoboken were transported to Bayonne Medical Center after a large concrete structure collapsed on them, according to The Jersey Journal.

The Hoboken firefighter and one of the Bayonne firefighters was treated and released, but the other Bayonne firefighter was admitted after for a fractured leg.

Firefighters were training at the former site of the Military Ocean Terminal, which is now used as a training facility by the Bayonne Fire Department.

Crews were working to stabilize the concrete structured when it collapsed, pinning one of the firefighters shortly before 10 a.m.

"Unfortunately, the training suddenly became real live rescue," Port Authority Police Department spokesman Al Della Fave told the newspaper.
