The FEMA Grants Office recently discovered that a question about financial need was not visible on the application that was distributed.
Applicants must use the new updated e-Grants online application to answer the question about financial need.
The question is worth 10 percent of the application's Technical Evaluation Panel score and is "critical to the evaluation," according to a news release.
For departments that have already submitted a grant application, it will be released back in the e-Grant application system to be updated.
