Vision 20/20 Symposium Live This Weekend

May 5, 2012
More than 160 fire prevention educators are sharing their programs this weekend in Virginia.

Fire and life safety educators from around the country are coming up with some innovative programs to keep people safe.

And, this weekend more than 160 are sharing those programs at the Models in Fire Prevention 2012 Symposium in Reston, Va.

The program is being conducted by Vision 20/20.

"We have people here who will share some top notch programs," said Jim Crawford, project manager. "These are working around the country..."

Realizing many people interested in keeping people safe from fires can't afford to travel during these tough economic times, Vision 20/20 officials have turned to social media.

The program will be streamed live here.

They also will be tweeting from the symposium throughout the weekend using Twitter with the hashtag #v2020.

Crawford said he hopes people take advantage of the opportunity to hear about the various, unique programs being offered.

The presentations also are available on the Vision 20/20 website.
