Three responders were hospitalized after a fire apparatus and an ambulance collided while en route to a call Sunday morning.

An Ovid-Middlebury Fire Department truck and an ambulance crash while attempting to turn onto Taft Road while responding to a house fire, according to The Argus-Press.

Clinton County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Jeff Clarke told the newspaper that crews were called to the chimney fire around 10 a.m. before the crash occurred.

The injured responders were transported to Sparrow Health System with non-life-threatening injuries.
