Three firefighters from the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District were injured Thursday while testing equipment.

Crews were pressure-testing a fire hose when the incident occurred around noon at the district's main fire station on Northern Avenue in Kingman, according to The Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Fire Chief Pat Moore told the newspaper that the firefighters were loading the hose back onto an engine as a second 5-inch line was being loaded with water when the hose snaked across the floor, knocking two firefighters to the ground and a third against an engine.

One of the firefighters was knocked unconscious, but all three were alert when they were transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center for treatment.
