Officials say a two-alarm fire in an office building that injured an Oakland firefighter Sunday is suspicious.

The firefighter sustained minor burns to his face and neck after he responded to the blaze at the three-story office building in the 1600 block of Webster Street around 9:19 a.m., according to KGO-TV.

He has since been treated and released from a burn center in San Francisco, Battalion Chief Emon Usher told the news station.

The fire was brought under control in less than 30 minutes and the cause is still under investigation.
