Los Angeles firefighters battled a massive commercial fire in the Echo Park neighborhood for close to two hours late Tuesday night.
Crews responded to 1625 Palo Alto Street to find the structure engulfed with flames shooting from its roof, according to The Los Angeles Times.
About 125 firefighters working to extinguish the blaze were forced to switch from an aggressive attack to a defensive one as the flames continued to spread throughout the building, weakening the structure.
The commercial building includes a business-cleaning company and printing business.
There were no significant injuries to firefighters or civilians.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey told the newspaper that the building is a total loss.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
