Dec. 10--Nassau County's Arson/Bomb Squad is investigating a fire that broke out early Monday in Long Beach, police said.

The Long Beach Fire Department responded to an emergency call for a fire at about 2:40 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus at 970 W. Beech St., Nassau police said.

Long Beach sent 100 fire fighters and 15 pieces of equipment and got help from the Inwood, Island Park, Oceanside, Point Lookout and Rockville Centre departments, police said.

There were no injuries, and police said in a news release "the cause of the fire was determined to be non suspicious and undetermined."

Police did not know immediately how long it took for fire fighters to put out the blaze.
