No injuries were reported.

About 100 firefighters spent two hours getting the fire under control, according to a report from the state fire marshal. Officials do not know where the fire started or what caused it.

The 60-by-100-foot building in the 1000 block of Francis Scott Key Highway (Md. 194) is occupied by Key Mar Tire Outlet and J. P. Donmoyer Trucking Company, and owned by Charlie Mehring, according to the fire marshal. It is a concrete and steel structure with a wood-framed roof.

The fire marshal's office estimated the structure and contents loss at $500,000.
