Former Warner firefighter Tobey Hadley Jr., 19, was charged with five counts of third-degree arson after being accused of setting grass fires, including one that burned an abandoned dilapidated house.

A former Warner firefighter charged in a series of alleged summer arsons waived his preliminary hearing Tuesday.

Tobey Hadley Jr., 19, was charged Oct. 19 with five counts of third-degree arson after being accused of setting grass fires, including one that burned an abandoned dilapidated house.

Hadley’s attorney, Larry Vickers, said the hearing was waived as they’re “working with the Muskogee County District Attorney’s Office” on a case outcome.

Assistant District Attorney Tim King said specifics of a possible plea agreement had been given to Hadley and his attorney. The case is set for district court arraignment at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 14.
