Cabbie Hurt in Collision With Chicago Fire Truck

A cab driver was injured after colliding with a Chicago fire truck on Wacker Drive this morning. Five firefighters and one passenger in the cab declined treatment.

Jan. 24--A cab driver was injured after colliding with a Chicago fire truck on Wacker Drive this morning.

The taxi collided with Truck No. 6 about 10:20 a.m. at Wacker and Michigan Avenue, according to Chicago Fire Department Cmdr. Sean Flynn, a department spokesman.

The cabbie was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good to fair condition with back pain, according to Flynn.

Five firefighters and one passenger in the cab declined medical treatment, according to Flynn.
