Jan. 26--An 8-month-old girl died in a fire on Detroit's east side early this morning.
The girl, whose name has not been released, was found in the rear of the lower portion of the house, according to Detroit Fire Capt. Dale Bradley.
There were no other injuries, Bradley said.
The blaze at 12280 Promenade near Roseberry Avenue was reported about 1 a.m. today, and firefighters arrived at 1:05 a.m.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Other details, including whether others were at the home, were not immediately available.
