Ky. License Plate Company Destroyed by Fire

Firefighters near Paris battled a fire in a business that manufactures specialty license plates on Friday.

Feb. 15--Firefighters from five area fire departments fought a structure fire Friday at a manufacturing shop at CWF Products, 5901 Stewart Road near Paris.

The fire started shortly after 8:30 a.m. and completely destroyed the 20' x 30' building.

Owner Chuck Frysinger said he was in the building, which is located behind his house, but could not get a water hose on the fire.

He said his company manufactures specialty license plates, including those for the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville.

Fire departments from Paris, Bourbon County, Hutchinson, Clintonville and Lexington responded to the fire. There were no injuries.
