Feb. 28--Firefighters were on the scene of a three-alarm fire Thursday morning at the University of Wisconsin Medical Sciences building at 1300 University Ave., according to media reports.
Firefighters arrived at the building around 8:20 a.m. and was under control by 8:42 a.m., the website Madison.com reported.
It quotes Madison Fire Department spokeswoman Lori Wirth saying the building had been evacuated and there were no reports of injuries.
The cause of the blaze was not immediately available.
