ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – A car crashed into a Laclede gas pipe causing four homes to be evacuated Wednesday.
A Laclede gas crew, firefighters and police officers were at the scene moments after the crash.
“They said we had to leave our house, and we did not know if it was going to explode,” Daniel McLenton said.
McLenton said he saw the crash.
“The car was out of control,” he said. “It just ran into it.”
Authorities allowed residents to return to their homes after Laclede officials discovered that there was not a gas leak.
