April 03--Residents will now be able to monitor the Ventura County Fire Department's activities on their mobile devices, officials said Tuesday.
The public can see what firefighters are responding to through the computer-aided dispatch system at http://fireline.ventura.org.
The site can now be accessed on desktops and all mobile devices.
It will also have three other data feeds that the department is publishing, including an RSS feed. The data feeds will be updated about every 60 seconds.
